Tara Walters is a prospective MFA candidate at the Art Center College of Design in Grad Art 2020. She earned her B.F.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2016 and attended SCAD’s residency program in Lacoste, France.  In 2012 she attended the Cloud Club residency in Boston, MA while she was a part of the Berklee College of Music community. Walters has exhibited at the Yale Divinity School, Savannah, GA, Columbia, MD, Boston, MA, Nashville, TN, and Lacoste, France. Walters is a part of the State of Tennessee’s permanent collection where her painting hangs inside of the Mayors office. Currently, Walters lives in Los Angeles, California and is in an ongoing independent study with Laura Owens.
